Hear the Music Ministries presents this scholarship in memory of Christy Maygard, a talented musician and songwriter who served on the Board of Directors from 2008 to 2010. Christy fought cancer bravely and passed away on Nov 5, 2010.

It is an opportunity for us to continue the mission of Hear the Music with emerging musicians by supporting both the musical and spiritual values that were also part of Christy’s heart and life.” Jon Buller
The intended recipient is an emerging Christian artist, pursuing a career in one of these areas: musician, songwriter, or worship leader. The scholarship has a $1000 value. For full details please refer to the following documents.
We are pleased to announce our top three finalists for 2011: Shelley Potts, Ryan Breitkreutz and Beth Dyck. There were a number of great applicants, but these 3 young musicians made it to the top, and we have decided to announce the winner in advance. Congratulations to Shelley Potts, who will receive the award on stage at HTM Night on November 13th. Please join us that night to honour them!
